My teaching style stems from many different schools of thought, ultimately having a foundation of alignment that is right for each individual body, honoring that we all Iive inside different bodies and shapes. Experiencing a balance of slow flow and stillness in poses to bring our awareness to the wisdom of what our body has to tell us, and then allowing to BE in a pose. Most of my teaching is informed by my background in therapeutics of the individual body and the ability of choosing our experiences of yoga during our practice, and ultimately bringing that into our daily lives in how we relate to others, ourselves, and how we choose to show up to the experience of this life. Our highest selves are yearning to raise the vibrations of energy around us. It is up to each of us individually to remove the blockages that stand in the way of living from our highest selves. What I most offer students and client in Yoga Therapy is to come from a curious mind to reframe the idea of judgment we so often have towards ourselves and others. Being curious about this beautiful vessel we live inside of each day, the wisdom it hold in all sheaths of the body and remembering what we’ve had inside of us all along.
